What Northland runs on
Northland business runs across long distances and patchy infrastructure. Forestry blocks, orchards, aquaculture, the deepwater port and refinery infrastructure at Marsden Point, and a manufacturing base serving all of them.
The technology problem the region shares is reach. Operations sit well away from where the fibre goes, staff are mobile rather than at desks, and a site visit consumes most of a day, which changes what is worth automating and what is worth monitoring remotely.

What tends to come up here
- Connectivity for sites and blocks the fixed network does not reach
- Remote monitoring, so an alarm arrives before a two hour drive does
- Rugged devices for staff who work outdoors in a marine climate
- Traceability records that hold up to audit for horticulture and aquaculture

How we cover Northland
We have staff based around New Zealand and a partner network in the places we do not. Coverage does not depend on which town you happen to be in.
Most of the work is done remotely where it can be, which is deliberate rather than a compromise: you get whoever is genuinely best on your problem instead of whoever is nearest, and travel stays out of what you pay. Where the work has to happen on site, an installation, a rollout, a site assessment, someone is on site.
We do not claim an office in Northland, because we would rather tell you what we can do for you than where we keep a desk. If you have a site that needs someone standing in it, tell us where and we will tell you plainly how we cover it.
