01
What Taranaki runs on
Taranaki is the centre of New Zealand energy and the specialist engineering that grew around it, alongside a substantial dairy processing base.
The technology requirement here is unlike most of the country. Operational systems that must be kept away from business IT, remote and often unstaffed sites, contractors coming and going with access that has to be narrow and revocable, and monitoring obligations that have to be evidenced rather than recalled.
02
What tends to come up here
- Separating operational technology from business IT properly rather than nominally
- Cellular and site connectivity with failover where an outage costs more than the link
- Telemetry from sites nobody visits weekly, on segmented networks
- Contractor access granted narrowly and revoked on the day the job ends

How we cover Taranaki
We have staff based around New Zealand and a partner network in the places we do not. Coverage does not depend on which town you happen to be in.
Most of the work is done remotely where it can be, which is deliberate rather than a compromise: you get whoever is genuinely best on your problem instead of whoever is nearest, and travel stays out of what you pay. Where the work has to happen on site, an installation, a rollout, a site assessment, someone is on site.
We do not claim an office in Taranaki, because we would rather tell you what we can do for you than where we keep a desk. If you have a site that needs someone standing in it, tell us where and we will tell you plainly how we cover it.
