What Otago runs on
Otago spans two quite different economies: a professional, education and health centre in Dunedin, and a tourism and hospitality driven base through Queenstown and the Southern Lakes, with horticulture through Central Otago.
The Southern Lakes half brings a distinctive problem, which is extreme seasonality in headcount and transaction volume. Systems sized for winter are the constraint in summer, and staff turnover means access provisioning has to be routine rather than careful.

How we cover Otago
We have staff based around New Zealand and a partner network in the places we do not. Coverage does not depend on which town you happen to be in.
Most of the work is done remotely where it can be, which is deliberate rather than a compromise: you get whoever is genuinely best on your problem instead of whoever is nearest, and travel stays out of what you pay. Where the work has to happen on site, an installation, a rollout, a site assessment, someone is on site.
